Memphis players Owen Brown, Layne Stott, Tayte Richmond and Vince Dale sport their Show-Me Games gold medals.

The Marvels 11U baseball team sponsored by the Law Office of Kevin Brown of Memphis, brought home gold from the Missouri Show-Me Games this weekend. The squad, which features four players from Memphis, won the Division II championship, completing a perfect 5-0 run through the games.

The Marvels trailed 5-3 in the semifinals before rallying to post a 9-5 victory and advance to the title game.

After a lengthy rain delay, the Marvels poured it on to the tune of a 12-0 win to bring home the gold.

Memphis players on the team were Owen Brown, Layne Stott, Tayte Richmond and Vince Dale. Other players included Robert Dooley, Gage Brownell, Ty Hall, Drew Gottman, Keaton Weter, and Preston Brewer, the grandson of Brett and Janet Brewer of Memphis.

The team was coached by Cody Weter, Les Richmond, Kevin Brown, Travis Stott, Aaron Dale and Travis Hall.
