After a proposal in front of the Palmyra Middle School student body, the engagement of Jayme Geisendorfer and Chris Mallett has been announced by their families. The wedding is set for June 16, 2018, in Quincy, Illinois.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Ken and Beverly Geisendorfer of Taylor, Missouri. She is a 2010 graduate from Hannibal LaGrange University, with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a master’s degree in education with an emphasis in Teaching and Learning. Miss Geisendorfer will be moving to Memphis, Missouri, after the wedding and will be employed at Scotland R-I School District as the Innovative Learning Specialist.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Kent and Phyllis Mallett of Memphis, Missouri. He is a 2008 graduate from State Fair Community College, receiving an associate’s degree of Applied Science with an emphasis in Agronomy. Mr. Mallett is a co-owner and operator of Mallett Farms, owner and operator of Oak Hill Pork, and is a seed sales representative for Pioneer Hi-Bred.
