The Scotland County girls earned the #1 seed in the Missouri Class 2 District 6 Tournament bracket that was announced this week. Coaches from the eight district schools met last week to determine the teams’ seeding.

The Lady Tigers took the top spot and will face #8 seed Putnam County (5-17) in the opening round on Monday, February 18th at 8:15 p.m. at Schuyler County High School

South Shelby received the #4 seed and will face #5 Milan at 5:45 p.m. on February 19th.

The winner of those two match ups will play in the semifinals on February 21 at 5:45 p.m.

Knox County is seeded #2 and will face Schuyler County on February 19 at 8:15 p.m.

Marceline earned the #3 seed and will do battle with #66 Princeton at 5:45 p.m. on February 18th.

The winner of these two contests will face off in the semifinals at 8:15 p.m. on February 21st.

The girls championship game is scheduled for Saturday, February 23rd at 3:15 p.m. following the boys championship which will tipoff at  2 p.m.

Undefeated Milan is the #1 seed and will play Schuyler County at 4:30 p.m. on February 18th.

South Shelby is the #4 seed and will face #5 seed Knox County at 7 p.m. on February 19th.

The winner of those two contests will meet in the semifinals at 4:30 p.m. on February 21st.

Princeton received the #2 seed and will play #7 Marceline at 7 p.m. on February 18th.

Scotland County earned the #6 seed and will take on #3 seed Putnam County (10-11) at 4:30 p.m. on February 19th.

The winners of these two contests will face off in the other boys’ semifinals contest on February 21st at 7 p.m.
