Strong showings in the sprints and the hurdle events helped the Scotland County track team bring home a fourth place finish from the Brookfield Relays held Friday, April 19th.

Lucas Howard took first place in both the 110-meter hurdles and the 300-meter hurdles. Teammate Zach Miller crossed the finish line first in both the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes.

The duo added team points in the field events as well. Howard took fifth in the high jump and was fourth in the triple jump while Miller finished fourth in the long jump. Miller wrapped up a big day taking second place in the 400-meter dash.

The Tigers 4×800 meter relay team of Terence Durham, Zach Doubet, Chris Jackson and Joseph Hite was sixth.

The 4×200 meter relay team of Caleb Doubet, Jackson, Durham and Brendan Orton finished eighth.

Orton, C. Doubet, Jackson and Evan Hager took seventh place in the 4×100 meter relay while the 4×400 relay team of Durham, C. Doubet, Jackson and Z. Doubet was seventh.

A total of 13 teams competed in the event.
