Scotland County’s Will Fromm was recognized by the coaches of the Lewis & Clark conference when the league released its post season awards at the end of the 2018-19 season. The SCR-I senior was named to the L&C first team all conference basketball team.

Joining him in receiving the top honors were fellow seniors  Vince Roberts of Fayette, Adam Forrest of Paris and Ben Miller of Westran. Also earning first team all conference were freshman Tanner Lanes of Harrisburg and sophomore Jackson King of Salisbury.

Westran claimed the boys conference title in an abbreviated season hampered by inclement weather. The Hornets finished 7-1 in league play followed by Paris (6-2), Salisbury (5-2) and Fayette at (4-2). Harrisburg posted a 5-3 league mark with Knox County finishing 2-5, Marceline and Schuyler County both at 1-4 and Scotland County at 0-7.

The all conference second team consisted of all underclassmen led by sophomore Kyle Schleeter and junior Cole Polson of Fayette. Also earning second team honors were freshman Jace Carr of Harrisburg, sophomore Conner Hayes of Knox County and juniors Konnor Heitmeyer of Paris and David Dale of Westran.

The third team all conference honors went to Isaiah Estes, senior from Fayette; Trent Klocke, junior from Knox County; Desmond Fessler, senior from Marceline; Garrett Green, senior from Salisbury; Grant Biere, freshman from Salisbury; and Trey Burton, junior from Westran.
