Forty-five persons attended the Woods family reunion held Sunday, June 28, 2015, at the Fire House in Memphis. A fried chicken dinner with all the trimmings was enjoyed at noon, along with picture taking and much visiting. Dennis and Dawn Woods of Aberdeen, SD traveled the furthest. Little Miss Avery Rimer of Edina was the youngest attendee. She is the daughter of Melvin Lee and Sarah Rimer.
In the afternoon a drawing was held for several crocheted sets of placemats and hot dish mats, donated by Lucille Woods Cossel. Lucille broke a bone in her ankle several weeks ago and crocheting was something she could do while healing.
Those from Memphis attending were Randy Woods and wife, Karen Shippen, Chas Woods, Janet Graham, Kevin, Debbie and Matthew Woods, Ivan and Virginia Woods, Buzz, Faith Ann, Merrit and Halle Miller, Robert Garrett and Judy Bradley, Drew Forquer, Staci Forquer and Dustin Hooper.
