Forrester Franklin Schmitz is the First Baby of 2019 born at Scotland County Hospital in Memphis. Forrest and his parents, Lee and Susan, are pictured with Randy Tobler, MD, FACOG, who delivered the baby.

Scotland County Hospital in Memphis is pleased to announce the first baby born in 2019 at the Women’s Center.  Forrester Franklin Schmitz, the son of Lee and Susan Schmitz of rural Wyaconda, was born on January 16, 2019, at 4:18 pm and weighed 8 lbs, 15.6 oz and 22 inches long.  He is welcomed by siblings: Kathrynn, Jonathan and William.  Dr. Randy Tobler delivered the baby. Grandparents are David and Donna Schmitz of Wyaconda, MO; Ott Yearns and Sandy Hardy of Columbia, MO and Dan Hardy of Luray, MO. Great-grandparents are Allison Cline of Luray, MO and James Schmitz of Maywood, MO.
