Free food, free school supplies and free fun. The Fifth Annual Back to School Bash will offer all of the above and much more on Saturday, August 5th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the north corner of the east side of the Memphis City Square.

Market Street in front of the Ignite Ministries Church will be filled with inflatable bounce houses and other activities that will all be open to the public.

The church building will also be open and a dodge ball tournament will be held in the gym.

Free refreshments will be served including hotdogs, snow cones, popcorn and soda.

As part of the event, the Scotland County Ministerial Alliance will be distributing free school supplies under the direction of the Lighthouse of Faith Church.

This will be the third year of the outreach program, that has helped hundreds of students, distributing more than $5,000 in aid in the form of backpacks, notebooks, pencils and much more.

New this year will be a free haircut station in the church for students needing a trim before heading back to class.
