Softball coaches from the teams that make up Missouri Class 1’s Districts 9, 10, 11 and 12, recently announced the All-Region softball team. The post-season honors went to players from the region’s 24 teams across north Missouri.

Scotland County’s Ashleigh Creek was one of four pitchers named to receive All-region honors. She led her team to a 16-9 record, losing to eventual state champion’s Canton in the District 11 championship game. Creek posted a 2.05 ERA in 126 innings of work that saw her strike out 142 batters in 21 games. Possibly more impressive was her work at the plate, where she pounded seven home runs and knocked in 30 runs while batting over .500.

Also named as All-Region pitchers were Bryn Woolridge of Salisbury, Olivia Jarvis of Canton and Haylee Petre of Atlanta.

Hunter Collins of Canton and Aleassa Hruska of Atlanta were named the All-Region Catchers.

Infielders honored with the post season awards were Brooke Stefankewicz and Ali King of Salisbury; Mylie Schupback of Brunswick-Keytesville; and Abby Jarvis, Brianna Caldwell and Laken Hugenberg of Canton.

All-Region outfielders were Allison Binder of Salisbury, Aubrey Feider of Gallatin, Haliegh Miller of Knox County and Bethany Jackson of La Plata. Her teammate Summer Wood was honored at utility player.
