Whether it is your taste in clothing, home decor or good old fashioned homemade breakfast and lunch, County Chic Boutique & Interior Design in Memphis has what you are looking for.

The latest addition to the Memphis Square offers a wide variety of home decor items and ladies’ attire as well as a full line of coffee. The boutique also serves breakfast and lunch daily, Check out their Facebook page for the daily special.

Visitors can always expect fresh, homemade cinnamon rolls and muffins. Breakfast daily specials included biscuits and gravy, breakfast sandwiches and even omelets.

Coffee aficionados have more than a dozen flavors to chose from, all made from Starbucks coffee beans.

“We offer six specialty drinks, all with our farm-house theme,” said owner Sidney Johnson. “Pretty much anything you can get at big city coffee shops we offer here.”

That includes the Rise & Shine, a caramel, French vanilla blend with steamed milk and espresso. Then there is the Red Rooster, featuring sweet milk chocolate, peppermint and espresso and the Mad Heifer with salted caramel, white chocolate, steamed milk and espresso.

In addition to the six specialty drinks, patrons can chose from more than a dozen flavors, such as coconut, Irish cream, pumpkin pie, raspberry and much more to add to a frozen, iced or hot coffee. Lattes and teas are also available.

Lunch specials have varied from maidrites, lasagna, and meatloaf, to baked chicken, salads, sliders, sandwiches and wraps.

The menu is just part of the draw to the boutique, Johnson offers a wide-variety of home decor items, made locally by artisans from across the area.

“We feature a variety of custom-made furniture,” she said. “It is all handmade. There are a few repurposed items, but the majority of the pieces are custom made by us or other featured local builders.”

The business opened its doors on the southeast corner of the city square on June 9th. But Johnson has been doing the furniture building for several years.

“It started out just as a hobby we did in our basement,” she said. “We made a few things for ourselves and then started having friends asking if we could make things for them. It just sort of took off from there.”

Country Chic Boutique & Interior Design is open Monday through Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and now will be open on Sundays from 7 a.m. to noon.
