The Memphis Community Players will hold auditions for the June production of Oklahoma! on Sunday, February 12, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Memphis Theatre.  There are 11 main roles as well as several other parts for farmers, cowboys, and chorus members.

Students who audition for chorus roles must have completed third grade.

Production dates will be announced after the cast has been selected.

Oklahoma!, the first collaboration of famed partners Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II, is set in Western Indian Territory just after the turn of the 20th Century. The rivalry between the local farmers and cowboys provides the backdrop for a love story between Curly, a handsome cowboy, and Laurey, a beautiful farm girl.
