FAYETTE, MO – Over 300 Central Methodist University student athletes received awards and recognition for athletic accomplishments during the 2016-17 school year.

Central held its annual All-Sport Awards Ceremony on Thursday, April 27, during which many of the athletes were honored.

The following CMU students from local areas received awards and recognition:

Mallory Haley, a nursing major from Lancaster, who lettered in Women’s Indoor and Outdoor Track.

Lucas Howard, a computer science major from Memphis, who lettered in Men’s Indoor and Outdoor Track.

Justin Seaton, a criminal justice major from Greentop, who lettered in Men’s Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field, and was recognized as a Heart of America All-Conference Athlete for Indoor Track and Field.

Marshall Thompson, an environmental science major from Wyaconda, who lettered in Men’s Golf.
