Additional charges have been filed against a Memphis man who was arrested last week in connection with a pair of local burglaries.
Brandon J. Albertson, 30, of Memphis is facing additional felony burglary and felony forgery charges. He was initially arrested on August 23rd for allegedly breaking into a residence at 428 N. Clay Street on two separate occasions.
The new charges stem from an alleged burglary at a neighboring residence at 438 N. Clay. According to court documents, Albertson allegedly broke into the home sometime between August 18 to August 25th while the residents were away and stole two bows.
During his booking for the initial burglary arrests, Albertson was allegedly found in possession of a check written on the account of the 438 N. Clay property owner, leading to the forgery charge.
Albertson is being held in the Scotland County Jail on $25,000 cash only bond and has been scheduled for a preliminary hearing on the initial charges for September 12th at 9 a.m.
