JEANNE M. BIANCHETTI-HICKS
(8/18/1930 - 2/7/2013)
Jeanne M. Bianchetti -Hicks passed from this worldly life on February 7, 2013, with family and friends by her side. Jeanne was born on August 18, 1930 to Anton Morello and Madeline LanFranki in Los Angeles, California. She was raised in the Los Angeles area and moved to Las Vegas in 1994. She married Frank Bianchetti in 1948 and they had one son, Robert. Frank was injured in the line of duty as a Captain in the Los Angeles County Fire Department and passed away April 1, 1992. Their son Robert passed away August 5, 2003. Jeanne later met Dean Hicks of Las Vegas and they were married August 10, 1996, where they continued to live.
Jeanne is survived by her granddaughter, Alison Bianchetti and her fiancé Matt Weese, and her daughter in law Deborah Kockos, all of San Francisco, and by her beloved husband Dean Hicks with whom she had 17 years of happiness, living and traveling together. She is also survived by four stepsons: Rodney and Diane of Oskaloosa, Iowa, Michael and Lisa of Alamo, California, Jeffrey and Leslie of Bozeman, Montana and Scott Hicks of Las Vegas, Nevada; step grandchildren Isabelle, Caroline Hicks, Grant and Brittany, Joel and Jason Hicks; brother and sister-in law Phillip and Linda Hicks of Danville, Iowa; Jeanne Perino, and other cousins who live in Peoria, Illinois area. Jeanne was a charter member of the Dana Point Yacht Club, sailing their 30 foot Catalina sailboat, with many trips to her favorite spot, Catalina Island. She was employed for a number of years as a medical office manager and physician assistant. Jeanne was a good and loyal friend to all, a great mother, grandmother and a wonderful wife. She and her husband are members at the First Presbyterian Church in Las Vegas, Nevada. No services are planned at this time. Jeanne's remains will be cremated and her ashes placed in Cooks Cove under the Golden Gate Bridge. Donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
