RANDALL LAVERN BLIEFERT

Randall LaVern Bliefert, 60, of Kahoka Missouri passed away January 25 2013, at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank L. and Barbara A. Bliefert and grandson Derrick Ball.
Randy was born in Oakland, California on December 12, 1952. He attended Canyon High School in Castro Valley, California. He joined the Army in 1970, serving in Vietnam with the 1st Calvary Division. Randy moved to Memphis in 1980 and worked in the family business. He graduated from IHCC studying culinary arts in 1982. He worked as a chef at Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri and for the Missouri Department of Corrections at Jefferson City and Boonville, Missouri. He was currently working as an over the road maintenance supervisor for Americana Company, Inc. He loved hunting and fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
Randy is survived by his wife: Teresa Bliefert, of Kahoka, Missouri; one son: Jason Bliefert of Columbia, Missouri; three daughters: Tilena Pfeiffer and husband of Centralia, Missouri, Jennie Isom and husband of Columbia, Missouri, and Kelley Evans of Kirksville, Missouri; two brothers: Ron Bliefert of Ely, Nevada and Chris Bliefert of Knox City, Missouri; three stepsons: Tommy Ball of Kahoka, Missouri, Troy Ball of Kahoka, Missouri and Bryan Ball and wife of Kahoka, Missouri; twelve grandchildren: Elliott, Aryan, Davina, Conor, Orion, Serenity, Jaeiln, Karma, Nick, Krystalline, Kya and Randi; one great- granddaughter: Sophia; many cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. As per his wishes, he was being cremated with no service, internment at a later date.
