MICHAEL TIMOTHY MALONE
(8/28/1954 - 12/18/2012)

Mike "Red" Malone passed away at his home in New London, Iowa, on December 18th. Mike was born in Memphis on August 28, 1954 to Stuart Wesley and Lynne Carroll Malone. On March 27, 1973 he married Mary Ellen Parrish in Kahoka. They moved to New London, Iowa where he was employed by J. I. Case for 35 years retiring in 2009. He enjoyed working on cars, fishing and auctions. He was very proud of his family. He was of the Christian faith.

Mr. Malone is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen, three sons Jason (Robin), and Jarrod (Angela) of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa and Justin of New London, Iowa, and four grandchildren. His mother, Lynne Malone of Quincy, Illinois; sisters Pat (Bob) of Quincy, Illinois, Terri Carter of Arlington, Texas, Tracy Simpson (O.J.) of Memphis, and Tony Malone of Ft. Worth, Texas.

Services were held December 22nd at Elliott Chapel in New London, Iowa with the Pastor Rod Cooper officiating. According to his wishes the body was cremated following the service and Inurnment will be held at Burge cemetery at a later date.
