New Family Physician Joins Staff at Scotland County Hospital
Dr. Sue Jennings has moved to Memphis, making the community her new home and is accepting patients in her new family medicine practice at Memphis Medical Services. Scotland County Hospital is pleased to welcome Dr. Jennings to the list of family practice physicians and healthcare professionals that practice at Memphis Medical Services (MMS).
Dr. Jennings has had a family medicine practice in Falls City, Nebraska, the last 11 years. A native of Wisconsin, Dr. Jennings earned an undergraduate degree from Alverno College in Milwaukee and is a 1978 graduate of the College of Osteopathic Medicine & Surgery, Des Moines.
Along with doctors Davis and Hoyal, Dr. Jennings represents the overall example of family medicine in a rural hospital. These doctors not only see patients in the clinic, they also care for patients in the hospital and nursing home, deliver babies and cover the emergency room.
Joining Dr. Jennings at Memphis Medical Services is her significant other, Vince Riley, a newly hired registered nurse in the clinic. He has been a nurse for 33 years. His profession is nursing, but his passion is music. He is an accomplished guitarist and looks forward to meeting other music enthusiasts in and around the community. He is also an instructor of guitar.
Scotland County Hospital CEO, Marcia Dial said, "It's a pleasure to add Dr. Jennings to the team of Family Practice physicians at Memphis Medical. She has a long and deep history of rural family medicine and that's going to make her a good fit for the hospital and our community. We feel fortunate to have her join the team at SCH."
