Scotland County Fair Season Passes Now on Sale
The Scotland County Fair Board is now selling season passes and advance carnival armbands for the 2013 Scotland County Fair running from July 8 through July 13. This year season passes will sell for $25 from May 1 through May 31 and $35 from June 1 through June 30. After June 30 the passes will no longer be available and customers will have to pay at the gate. Daily gate charges will be $10 for adults, $5 for children 7-10 and kids 6 and under free.
"Once you enter the fairgrounds your season pass or daily armband will get you in to see all events on the fairgrounds," said fair board member Linda Mallett.
This year's grand stand schedule looks like this: Monday - Vesper's Service / Andy Avery Concert; Tuesday- crowning of the 4-H Royalty, Farm Family and Super Farmer Contest; Wednesday-Texaco Country Showdown followed by the Terry DaVolt Comedy Hypnosis Show; Thursday-TSPA Truck & Tractor Pull; Friday-Crazy 3 Buckin Bull Rodeo; Saturday Mud Bogg and Demo Derby.
Fun Times Shows Carnvial will be returning to the Scotland County Fair and will be opening on Tuesday night July 9 and will run through July 13. The carnival will run each night from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and will also run Saturday afternoon from noon to 4 p.m. Advance carnival armbands may be purchased for $15 from May 1 through June 30. After June 30 nightly armbands will be available for $18 at the ticket booth.
