Teens Hurt in Crash on County Road
Three Memphis teens were injured in a one-vehicle crash just west of Memphis at 4:20 p.m. on Friday, September 7th.
Accoridng to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Darick L. Cline, 17, was southbound on County Road 563, one mile northwest of Lover's Lane in Memphis, when he lost control of the 2000 Pontiac Grand Am on the gravel roadway. The car went off the right side of the roadway and overturned.
Cline suffered minor injuries in the crash. A passenger in the vehicle, Tristen L. Hilpert, 15, sustained moderate injuries. Both teens were transported by Scotland County Ambulance to Scotland County Hospital. A second passenger in the car, Justin S. Girardin, 15, sustained minor injuries. He was treated at the scene.
The vehicle sustained total damage. It was removed from the scene by Lakeside Towing.
The Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Memphis Police Department and the ambulance service.
