Iowa Man Flown From Scene of Motorcycle Crash
A Fairfield, Iowa man sustained serious injuries in a motorcycle crash in Scotland County on Friday, January 6th.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Kent L. Davisson, 49, was northbound on Highway 15 on a 2000 Harley Davidson when the crash occurred at 2:20 p.m., approximately 10 miles south of Memphis.
Gary W. Warth, 66, was driving a 1991 Honda, southbound from the intersection of Route W, when he failed to yield to the northbound motorcycle. Davisson attempted to avoid the Warth vehicle and lost control of the motorcycle, impacting the highway.
He was transported by Air Evac helicopter to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.
The Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Scotland County Ambulance Service, Scotland County Sheriff's Office, Memphis Police Department, and Rutledge First Responders.
