First Baby of New Year Born at SCH

The first baby of the New Year was born at Scotland County Hospital at 4:40 p.m. on Monday, January 2, 2012.
Cash Arrin Cochran weighed seven pounds and 14 ounces and was 21 1/2 inches in length. The first baby of 2012 was born to parents Anna Buckallew and Darrin Cochran of Memphis.
Grandparents are Susan Buckallew of Memphis and Lonnie and Mickie Cochran of Memphis. Great-grandparents are Stanley and Virginia Roberts of Logan, IA and Bob and Marie Brown of Memphis and great-great-grandparents include Jean Davis of Logan, IA.
As the first baby born in 2012 at SCH, the family will receive a number of gifts courtesy of area businesses and sponsors including RPM, SCH and SCCC Auxiliary, US Bank, Rose Hardware, Scotland County Health Department, Payne Funeral Chapel, Memphis Lumber, Kimberly J.
