Bondurant Named to MFCA All-State Team

Scotland County senior Brock Bondurant was recently honored by the Missouri Football Coaches Association (MFCA), being named to the Class 1 all-state second team.

State champions Valle Catholic, dominated the first team with seven players earning top honors as voted on by the coaches including quarterback Michael Wehner, receiver Alec Greminger and linemen Thomas Hermann and Andrew Bauman on offense. Hermann was also honored on the defensive line along with teammate Jared Bruns, linebacker Eric Meyer and kicker Kevin Abts.

Runner-up, South Shelby, placed five players on the first team.

The majority of players from this coverage area were relegated to the second team all state squad as picked by the MFCA.

Salisbury's Jeremiah Jackson was honored at running back, along with Milan's Cooper Bankus, the TRC MVP.

The Wildcats had four players named to the second team.

Bondurant was honored at the defensive back position, along with Knox County's Leighton McCabe.
