HENRY L. "BUD" DENNISON

Henry L. "Bud" Dennison, 67, of Memphis, Missouri passed away Friday afternoon, September 9, 2011 at the Scotland County Hospital in Memphis.
The son of William H. and Ivy Fox Dennison, he was born February 7, 1944 in Warsaw, Illinois. He graduated from the Gorin High School in 1962. He then went on to join the Army Reserves for six years. After that he went to work seeking a job with the M.F.A. Farmers Elevator and stayed with them for 43 years, until his health failed him.
He married Caroline Clatt on August 14, 1965 and to this union four children were born: Tammie, Donna, Donald and Linda Jo.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He liked spending time with his family and friends and always had time to visit.
Bud was preceded in death by his father, three daughters and three brother-in-laws; Paul Clatt, Eldon Potter and Richard Kaldenberg;
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Caroline Dennison, his son Donald, one grandson; Aaron Mallett and his mother, Ivy Dennison all of Memphis, two sisters; Shirley Clatt of Memphis, and Pat Potter of Hamilton, IL, sister-in-law; Margaret Kaldenberg of Iowa Falls, Iowa, brother-in-law; John Clatt and his wife Shirley of Ashland, Nebraska and a son-in-law; Brian Mallett of Memphis along with nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and a host of friends all of whom will miss him.
Memorials are suggested to the family for their discretion and can be left at or mailed to the Payne Funeral Chapel, 202 E. Madison St., Memphis, Missouri 63555.
Graveside services were held Monday, September 12 at the Sands Cemetery, St. Francisville, Missouri. Officiating the service was Rev. Robert Moseley. Military Honors were provided by the Wallace W. Gillespie V.F.W. Post #4958 of Memphis, MO. Interment followed the service. Honorary Pallbearers were the employees of the M.F.A Elevator.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Payne Funeral Chapel in Memphis.
