LINDA C. SHARP

Linda C. Sharp, 65, of Wyaconda, MO, died Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at the Scotland County Care Center in Memphis.
She was born the daughter of Vic and Anna Maude (Regnold) Remley on January 19, 1946 in Kirksville.
Linda attended school in Memphis.
She married Richard Sharp on April 23, 1965 in Memphis. He survives.
The couple moved frequently in the early years of their marriage before settling in Wyaconda. Linda worked at Mildred Wilson's nursing home in the 1960s.
Linda liked to be outdoors and working in her yard, especially planting trees. She enjoyed fishing and working with Richard on the couple's home improvement projects. Linda was a great fan of Country & Western music, with Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn being two of her favorite artists.
"Most of all, she just enjoyed working with me and helping me out. She always had some project for me to do," remembered Richard. "We were married for over 40 years and we did everything together while she was able."
Mrs. Sharp was preceded in death by her parents; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Bill and Ethel Sharp; her grandparents; and her sister-in-law, Frances Remley.
She is survived by her husband Richard of Wyaconda, MO; two sisters, Vicki and husband Ron Thilgen of Lyons, KS, and Margie Heberlin of Sacramento, CA; three brothers, Larry and wife Wanda Remley of Memphis, MO, Jerry Remley of Arbela, MO, and Terry Remley of Garfield, ARK; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Memorial services were held on Sunday, June 26, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gerth Funeral Chapel in Wyaconda, MO, with Rob Quillin, pastor of the Wyaconda Baptist Church, officiating.
Memorials in memory of Mrs. Sharp may be given to the family and may be left at or mailed to Gerth Funeral Service, 115 S. Main, Memphis, MO 63555.
