BOYD ALAN BRADLEY

Boyd Alan Bradley, 78, of Arbela, Missouri passed away at 6:10 A.M. on Monday, May 2, 2011, at the Scotland County Hospital in Memphis, Missouri.
He was born on January 23, 1933, in Bible Grove, Missouri to George Loris and Zella Riebel Bradley.
He married Judy Noble on October 13, 1962, in Etna, Missouri.
Boyd graduated from Bible Grove School and received a scholarship to attend the Kirksville Teachers College in Kirksville, Missouri. He proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict as a medic. Upon returning from the war, he owned and operated the MFA stations in Memphis and Kahoka, Missouri. His true passion was his dairy farm in which he and Judy supplied Grade A milk for Prairie Farms Dairy for more than twenty years, earning many awards.
Remaining to cherish his memory are his wife, Judy; one son: Kevin Bradley and his wife, Jeri, of Centerville, Iowa and a granddaughter, Kaitlin Bradley, of Quincy, Illinois; sisters-in-law, Glendora Bradley of Kahoka, Missouri; Joyce Harvey and her husband, Joe Eddie, of Memphis, Missouri and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Derril Bradley and Richard Bradley, aunts, uncles and friends.
A visitation was held on Friday, May 6, 2011, at the Memphis Funeral Home.
Funeral services were held at 10 A.M., Saturday, May 7, at the funeral home with John Gorham, officiating. Burial followed in the Memphis Cemetery. To honor Boyd's memory, a memorial may be made to the Scotland County Cancer Fund and may be left at or mailed to Memphis Funeral Home, 378 South Market Street, Memphis, Missouri 63555.
