BILLY D. CALL (7/16/1942 - 4/14/2011)
Billy D. Call of Memphis, MO passed away April 14, 2011 at University Hospital in Columbia, MO. He was born July 16, 1942 in Chicago, IL to Leona (Mae Jones) and Guy D. Call. He moved to Memphis in 2005. He was an auction and gun enthusiast. Bill worked at Bullet Stop Gun Shops in Illinois and Missouri as a volunteer. He loved fishing with his family and hunting in Missouri. Bill was a member of the NRA and Moose Club. He is survived by daughters Roberta Jones and Karen Taft (Chris Irvin) of Memphis and son Raymond (Tasha) Call of Rockford, IL and special friend and love Ginger Schnur of Memphis; stepson Richie (Tammy) Stotler of Clinton, OK; stepdaughters Verna Colvin of Charlotte, TN and Sherry (Tom) Marnich of Mt. Morris, IL; 8 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 6 step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded by his parents; stepfather, Ray Johnson; grandson, Dylan Jones and step-granddaughter, Akeya Merrill.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 5:30 p.m. at Hartford Baptist Church, Hartford, MO. Memorial services will be held in Illinois at a later date.
