Community Choir Packs Methodist Church for Christmas Cantata

The Memphis Community Choir performed Sunday afternoon at the United Methodist Church in Memphis, presenting Shine on Us, a Musical for Christmas.

Musical selections included Wonderful One, Hope is Born Again, Ark! The Herald Angels Sing with Angels, from the Realms of Light of the Stable of Joy, Shine on Us and Light the Stable. Angela Westhoff performed I have Seen the Light and Schelle Cooley sang A King is Born while Sarah Myers performed Come Emmanuel. Tom and Teresa Cotton, Harlo Donelson, Joan Hinds and Ann Lynn Kirkpatrick performed Silent Night.

The United Methodist Church Bell Choir performed Oh, Little Town of Bethlehem, Christmas Lullaby and Jolly St. Nicholas.

Choir members are Benji Briggs, Angel Chance, Schelle Cooley, Teresa Cotton, Catherine DeMarce, Joan Kice, Anna Lynn Kirkpatrick, Sarah Myers, Christi Wiley, Brooke Wineinger, Sandy Blake, Tom Cotton, Sheila Berkowitz, Brenda DeMarce, Lynette Dyer, Joan Hinds, Mary Ann Kirkpatrick, JoAnn Peters, Louis Quenneville, Connie Sargent, Jan Slayton, Kim Smith, Angela Westhoff, Harlo Doneslon, Jeff Dyer, Joe Fulk and Jon Wullbrandt.

The production was directed by Lori Fulk. Ann Luther served as piano accompanist with Sarah Myers playing flute. Narrators were Nelda Billups and David Howlett. Sadie Davis served as page turner.

The United Methodist Women hosted refreshments and fellowship at the church following the concert.
