Baring Woman Hurt in Crash in Lewis County
A Baring woman sustained minor injuries in a three-vehicle accident at the intersection of highways 16 and 81 in Lewis County at 2:45 p.m. on Friday, June 3rd.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Christina D. Klataske, 21, was eastbound on Highway 16 in a 2002 Ford Mustang when she attempted to make a left hand turn onto Highway 81.
Her vehicle struck a westbound 2007 Toyota Prius driven by Chadwick B. York, 58 of Rutledge. Klatske's vehicle then impacted a 1999 Dodge van that was southbound on Highway 81 and was stopped at the Highway 16 intersection.
The van's driver, 32-year-old Skeeter A. Kroeger of Palmyra, was not injured in the crash.
Klataske was transported by Lewis County Ambulance to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.
York was not injured in the collision.
The Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Lewis County Ambulance service, Canton Police Department and Lewis County Sheriff's Department.
