Memphis Woman Life-Flighted From Scene of ATV Crash
A Memphis woman was life-flighted from the scene of an ATV in rural Scotland County on February 9th.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Sylvia J. Billington, age 62, was driving a 2001 Polaris ATV when she drove onto a snowdrift and the vehicle overturned, coming to rest on the driver.
Billington suffered serious injuries in the crash. She was flown from the accident scene by Air Evac helicopter to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.
The accident occurred at 10:20 a.m. at a farm on County Road 558, approximately six miles northwest of Memphis.
The Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by the Scotland County Sheriff's Office, Scotland County Ambulance Service and Memphis first responders.
