Baby Vice First Delivery of New Year at Scotland County Hospital
After a busy close to the 2010 year at the Scotland County Hospital Women's Center, 2011 was finally christened with the first birth at the facility on January 4th.
Gavin Hunter Vice came into the world at 4:22 p.m. that Tuesday afternoon. He weighed six pounds and six ounces and was 20 inches long. His parents are Julia Stewart and Tim Vice of Williamstown. Gavin has a big sister, Bailey.
Grandparents are Patricia Whitley of Memphis, Robin and Sam Vice of Palmyra, Bob and Judy Franklin of Gorin, Jacque Kaisler of Memphis and Jarry and Ethel Vice of Palmyra.
As the first baby of 2011 born at Scotland County Hospital, Gavin was showered with gifts from a number of area merchants to commemorate the event. Gifts were provided by Kimberly J.
