Lloyd "Craig" Mauck, age 59, of Edina Missouri, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2010, at his home in Edina.

He was born April 24, 1951, in Kirksville, Missouri, the son of Lloyd J. "Tweed" and Beulah Mae Walter Mauck.

He is survived by his mother, Beulah Turpin and husband Russell of Edina, Missouri; four children: John Morton and wife Jana of Edina, Missouri; Michella Hull and husband Ken of Memphis, Missouri; Jamie Mauck and wife Amy of St. Peters, Missouri; Kloe Dawn Mauck of Knox City, Missouri; six grandchildren: Brady Morton, Tanner Morton, Jacob Hull, Justin Hull, Nathan Mauck and Matthew Mauck; four sisters: Judy Hamlin and husband Harley of Edina, Missouri, Patty Klocke and husband Larry of Edina, Missouri, Billie Lou Johnson and husband Phil of Griggsville, Illinois, and Eileen Miller and husband Steven "Dober" of Knox City, Missouri, in addition to several nieces, nephews and cousins. Craig was preceded in death by his father and several aunts and uncles.

Craig was a lifelong resident of Knox County, Missouri where he graduated from Knox County High School. Over the years he was engaged in farming and had various jobs in the community before beginning a 27-year career with Mark Twain Telephone Company of Hurdland, Missouri. He was a member of the Locust Hill Community Church.

Craig enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and finding morel mushrooms. He loved spending time with family and friends. Craig was very proud of his six grandsons who he lovingly referred to as his "six-pack".

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 18, 2010, at the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, Missouri. Reverend Sam Smith will officiate the services.

Musical selections will be "When I Get Where I'm Going", "A Living Prayer", "That's My Job", and "Go Rest High On That Mountain".

Burial will be in Park View Memorial Gardens in Kirksville, Missouri.

Casket bearers will be Harley Hamlin, Steven Miller, Larry Klocke, Phil Johnson, Rick Lawson, Mike Peavler, Larry Lumley and Robbie Lumley.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 17, 2010, after 4:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, Missouri.

Memorials in memory of Lloyd "Craig" Mauck may be made to Northeast Missouri Hospice. Memorials may be left at or mailed to Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1, Edina, Missouri, 63537.
