Eileen Mills, 76, of Memphis, died Thursday morning, June 3, 2010, at her home near the Farmerís Lake Campground in Scotland County.

She was born the daughter of Clifford and Mazie (Douglas) Clark on December 25, 1933 in Alvordton, Ohio.

Eileen married John Mills on August 22, 1953 in Adrian, MI. He survives.

She loved spending time with her family, fishing and as the caretaker of the Farmerís Lake Campground in Scotland County. Her many hobbies included volunteering for the Metro Parks of Toledo, OH, demonstrating nineteenth century craft skills such as blacksmithing, forging, coppering, weaving, wool spinning, quilling, candle dipping, bread making, wood carving, canning, rush weaving, making tools and wood turning projects.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, brother-in-law, and sister-in-law.

She is survived by her husband, John, of the home; children Richard and wife Karen Mills of Sutter, IL, Mary Mills and special friend Gary Clark of Hamilton, IL, Eileen and husband Mike Garrison of Orland Park, IL, Jackie Boman of Napolean, OH, Kathleen and husband Timothy Murdock and John and wife Shelly Mills, all of Perrysburg, OH; four brothers and sisters, Myron and wife Betty Clark, Maurice Clark, Douglas and wife Harriet Clark, and Vedetta Crater, all of Michigan; 13 grandchildren, Keith and Nicole Mills, Lee Mills, Sheena Clark, Melissa Webb, Amy McDonnell, Melinda Boman, Amanda Boman, Amber Boman, Cody Boman, Sarah Murdock, Dominik Mills and Ryan Mills, and 10 great grandchildren.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, June 6, 2010 at the Gorin Cemetery. Pastor Carrol Davenport, Hospice chaplain, officiated. Pallbearers were Lee Mills, Keith Mills, John Mills, Richard Mills, Mike Garrison, Donald Siples, Ian McDonnell, and Timothy Webb.

Memorials are suggested to Northeast Missouri Hospice and can be left at or mailed to the Gerth Funeral Service, 115 S. Main St., Memphis, MO 63555.
