LOUISE M. CLOW

Louise M. Clow, 89, of Memphis, Missouri passed away Wednesday morning, June 2, 2010 at the Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri.
The daughter of Robert and Forest Lillian Speer Kirkhart, she was born on May 29, 1921 in Cantril Iowa. She was raised in the Cantril area and attended the Cantril Schools.
She married Marvin Wheaton on August 29, 1938 and to this union four children were born, Shirley, Gary, Teddy and Dianna. She later married Hillis Clow on June 23, 1955 and to this union, three children were born, Karen, Vickie and Robert.
In her spare time she enjoyed going on long walks, working with her flowers and in her garden as well as feeding the birds. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends visiting. She was a member of the Memphis United Methodist Church and attended there regularly as long as her health permitted.
Preceding her in death were her parents; both of her husbands; a daughter, Shirley Robinson; one son, Gary Wheaton; two brothers, Edgar and Richard Kirkhart; a granddaughter, Teresa Clark Johnson; one great-granddaughter, Latisha Robinson; a sister-in-law, Chloa Clow;and a brother-in-law, Milo Clow.
Surviving relatives include five children, Teddy Wheaton of Memphis, MO, Dianna (Jerry) Clark of Memphis, MO, Karen (Joe) Ridge of Kahoka, MO, Vickie (Mike) Brown of Carthage, IL, and Robert Clow of Quincy, IL; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorials are suggested to the Memphis United Methodist Church or the Scotland County Care Center and can be left at or mailed to the Payne Funeral Chapel, 202 E. Madison St., Memphis, Missouri.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, June 6, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at the Payne Funeral Chapel in Memphis with Brother Larry Smith officiating. Interment followed in the Memphis Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Brad and Bryan Lewis, Tyler and Brett Briggs, Ronnie, Roger and Randy Robinson. Honorary Pallbearers were Bill Mann, Andrew Spray, Shawn Ferdig, Randy, Mike and Gary Wheaton Jr.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Payne Funeral Chapel in Memphis.
