CRAIG WARREN GARDINE

Craig Warren Gardine, 63 of Lancaster, Missouri passed away at the Scotland County Hospital in Memphis, Missouri on Friday, March 26, 2010.
The son of Warren Russell and Charlotte Patricia (Craig) Gardine, he was born in Kirksville, Missouri on November 2, 1946. He graduated from the Lancaster High School in Lancaster, Missouri with the class of 1964.
Craig is survived by his fiancée, Shirley Gardner of Lancaster, Missouri; two daughters, Christina Garrett and husband, Alan of Downing, Missouri and Angela Gardine of Downing, Missouri; two stepsons, Christopher Gardner and wife, Heather of Lancaster, Missouri and Les Gardner of California; two grandchildren, Riley Taylor Gardine of Texas and Shelby Garrett of Downing, Missouri; two step-grandchildren, Brier and Jacob Gardner of Lancaster, Missouri; one step-great-grandchild, Karter Lee Crump of Lancaster, Missouri; two sisters, Patti Tucker of Lancaster, Missouri and Debbie Gardine of Arkansas; one uncle, Guy Gardine of Memphis, Missouri; nieces, nephews, several cousins; other family members and many good friends.
Preceding Craig in death are his parents; one daughter, 1st Lt. Jennifer Lynn Gardine in November, 2001 and one brother, Gary Russell Gardine in September, 1972.
Craig was a member of the Lancaster Christian Church of Lancaster, Missouri. He was also a member of the Glenwood Masonic Lodge in Glenwood, Missouri and the El Kadir Shrine Club in Kirksville, Missouri.
For several years, Craig was an insurance adjuster for insurance companies in the area. He also enjoyed farming, fishing and hunting in his “Willy” jeep!
Craig treasured the time he was able to spend with his family and friends. He especially cherished the time spent with his grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, April 2, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri with Sonny Smyser, pastor of the Schuyler County Church of Faith of Lancaster, Missouri officiating. Musical CD selections of “I Want To Talk About Me” and “Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue” will be performed.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the memorial services. Burial will be at a later date as the body has been cremated. Arrangements are under the direction of the Norman Funeral Home of Lancaster, Missouri.
