Memphis Community Players to Perform Christmas Play

The Memphis Community Players and Evening on Broadway Troupe will present Watt Family Christmas by Cheryl Taylor on Friday and Saturday, December 10 and 11, at 7:30 at the Memphis Theatre.

The play is a comedy about a "hillbilly" family that visits the Whitman World of Wonder - a huge, fabulous shopping mall - on Christmas Eve. Amid the "wonders" of the shopping mall, the Watt family manages to convey the real meaning of Christmas to those around them. Many familiar Christmas songs will be included as part of the performance.

There will be no advanced ticket sales. Admission is $8.00.
