New Food Pantry Open For November Distribution

The initial phase of construction of the Scotland County Ministerial Alliance's new Food Pantry facility has been completed.

The new building, although not finalized, is functional and will be open to receive and distribute food this month with regular distribution on Monday, November 8th.

"The Scotland County Ministerial Alliance would like to thank all those who have given generously to this important ministry project," said member Dan Hite, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Memphis.

The Ministerial Alliance will be hosting two important gatherings this month related to this project. On Saturday, November 20th at 2:00 PM there will be a dedication service at the new Food Pantry building.

"Please come out and join us as we dedicate the new facility for the work of the Lord Jesus," said Hite.

Also, on Tuesday, November 23rd at 7:00 PM the SCMA will be hosting the annual Community Thanksgiving Service.

"We look forward to celebrating as a community the completion of the initial phase of the Food Pantry project," Hite said. "Hope to see you there."
