NEMO RPC to Host Missouri Community Betterment Event
MEMPHIS, MO — NEMO RPC Executive Director Nate Walker has announced that Jan Simon Executive Director for Missouri Community Betterment (MCB) will be in Memphis at the NEMO RPC Building at 326 East Jefferson Street on June 3rd at 1:30 p.m. to present a program that will inform the public about the Missouri Community Betterment organization and the services that it can offer to communities. The program will be approximately 1 1/2 hours.
Missouri Community Betterment annually hosts an awards competition and a conference for youth and adults. The purpose of Missouri Community Betterment is to provide assistance to communities to improve their quality of life. Please put this date on your calendars and please let me know if you will be able to attend this informative meeting. To RSVP or to obtain a complete meeting agenda contact the NEMO RPC Office at (660) 465-7281 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Communities that participate in Missouri Community Betterment are often more progressive and have their “act together” because they have developed a community plan and are working on projects that have been determined through the planning process. These projects will help to improve the quality of life in their community. By improving the quality of life people will want to reside in this community, new businesses will want to come to this community and youth, who have been a part of the planning process, will want to return to this community to live. The MCB program is also a great way to recognize local individuals for the hard work they are doing for your community. The annual conference offers great information for youth and adult attendees. For additional information you may contact Jan Simon, her contact information is (417) 334-3474, email@example.com or visit the MCB website at www.mocommunitybetterment.com
