Tigers Hoops Camp Draws 46 Players

A total of 46 students in grades one through eight attended the 2008 Scotland County Tigers basketball camp held in July in Memphis.

The three-day event featured a number of skills contests for campers.

The Grade 1-4 winners were:

Monday – Elijah Cooley – protection.

Tuesday – Aaron Blessing – protection; and Will Fromm – Hot Spots.

Wednesday – Aaron Buford – protection; and Griffan Kerkmann – Hot Spots.

Grade 5-8 winners were:

Monday – Austin Smith – protection; and Jade Holt – Hot Spots.

Tuesday – Lee Tague – protection; and Wyatt Kice – Hot Spots.

Wednesday – Lee Tague – protection; Brice Cowell – Hot Spots; and Jade Holt – free throw champion.
