Three Tigers Earn Campus Bowl All-Conference Honors

Three members of the Scotland County R-I Campus Bowl team earned All Tri-Rivers Conference Honors.

Making the first team was senior Julie Triplett, who tied Putnam County’s Blake Tade for answering the most questions during the seven game Tri-Rivers conference schedule. Triplett and Tade answered 74 questions correctly, averaging 10.57 toss-up questions per game.

Senior Loren Billington and junior Ben Wiley were honorable mention selections, averaging 2.28 and 2.14 toss-up questions answered correctly per game.

Scotland County and Clark County tied for the conference championship, each squad going 6-1 during the season. North Shelby and Knox County were next at 5-2, Schuyler County, 3-4, followed by Putnam County at 2-5, Brookfield at 1-6, and Milan at 0-7.

Scotland County and North Shelby both advance to the State tournament on May 5 in Columbia as a result of winning their respective district tournament.
