HAROLD RAYMOND FOGLESONG

Harold Raymond Foglesong, 85, of Kahoka, MO, died November 1, 2007, at the Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.
He was born May 16, 1922 in Glenwood, MO, the son of Ray Foglesong and Ada Anderson Foglesong. He married Marjorie Eoff on June 18, 1950 in Memphis, Mo.
He was a farmer and a member of Ironworker Local #577 for 24 years before retiring in 1984. He attended Memphis and Granger High Schools. He was a member of the St. Francisville Lodge # 588 A.F. and A.M., the Shriners of St. Louis, MO, and was also a member of the Scottish Rite of Free Masonry, S.J. USA.
Harold was a loving and devoted husband, dad, grandpa and great grandpa. He was always there for those who needed advice, a helping hand, or a hug. He was considered by many to be their ďadoptedĒ dad or grandpa. Above all else, he loved and served the Lord.
Harold was a Tech. Sergeant with the United States Army and proudly served his country during WW II.
He was a gifted storyteller and amused many with his tales of childhood, service in the army and life experiences.
Mr. Foglesong is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marjorie Eoff Foglesong, two sons: Michael Foglesong and his wife Mildred of Kahoka, MO, Warren Foglesong of Hannibal, MO, four daughters: Marlene Lemaster of Keokuk, IA, Sharon OíDonnell of Keokuk, IA, Deanna Markey of Keokuk, IA, Bonnie Foglesong of Wayland, MO, ten grandchildren: Angela (Foglesong) Cook and her husband Mickie, Anita (Foglesong) Taylor and her husband Jack, Brandon Lemaster and his wife Sara, Nathan Lemaster, Cari and Casey OíDonnell, Wendy (Foglesong) Monical, Chad and Jason Ewing, Nicholas Markey, five great grandchildren: Rebecca Cook, Samantha Cook, Jackson Lemaster, Hanna Taylor, and Eston Monical, two sisters: Hazel Blum of Kahoka, MO, and Ann Page of Sedalia, MO.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers: Claude, Clyde, and Olin Foglesong, two sisters: Helen Taylor and Mary Foglesong, two grandchildren: Jessica Lemaster and Toby Foglesong, his son-in-law Roger Lemaster and daughter-in-law, Cindy Foglesong.
Funeral services were held November 5 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka, MO with Jon Platte and Tom Davis officiating. Burial with military rites was in the Chambersburg Cemetery in rural Kahoka.
Memorials may be made to the Masonic Childrenís Hospital or the Wolfner Library for the Blind or Handicapped, Jefferson City, MO.
