WILLIAM CASEY SPEARS

William Casey Spears, 29, of Glenwood, MO, passed away on September 4, 2007, northwest of Glenwood, MO.
The son of William James Spears and Jacquelyn Louise Oliver, he was born on July 29, 1978 in Unionville, MO.
He was a graduate of the Schuyler R-I Schools with the class of 1997 and also graduated with an associate degree from Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, IA.
Survivors include his father, William (Bill) James Spears of Glenwood, MO; his mother, Jacquelyn Louise Covington and husband, Chris of Novinger, MO; fiancee, Sarah Crump of Glenwood, MO; grandparents, Lorraine Stevens and husband, Charles of Lancaster, MO, and Charles Oliver of Queen City, MO; aunt, Cyndy Ellis of Des Moines, IA; great-uncle, Larry Loving of Glenwood, MO; one sister, Loutrisha Dawn Hackman of Browning, MO; two brothers, Jesse Spears of Muscatine, IA and Jason Spears of Lancaster, MO; two nephews, Jakob and Isaac Holton of Browning, MO; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and a very special group of friends Casey hung around with and the memories he has left behind.
Casey was preceded in death by his grandfather, William Spears; grandmother, Rosemary Oliver, uncle, Art Ellis; and two great-uncles, Harley and John Spears.
Casey was a member of the Freedom Road Riders of Kirksville, MO and was a self-employed machine operator.
Casey had a contagious smile and was a special friend to many. Those who knew him will treasure their memories forever.
Funeral services were held on September 7, 2007 at the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, MO with Robert Harrison, pastor of the Lancaster Baptist Church officiating. Special CD selections were played. Pallbearers were Clayton Kaden, Countri Kerby, James Groseclose, Ed Berry, John Beeler, and Ryan Brown. Honorary pallbearers were Matt Brewer, Robbie Nelson, and Kenny Brehmer. Memorials have been established for the family. Burial was in the Hilltown Cemetery, east of Coatsville, MO. Arrangements were under the direction of the Norman Funeral Home of Lancaster.
