JUDY ANN TAYLOR

Judy Ann Taylor, age 60 of Plevna, Missouri, passed away Sunday August 19, 2007, north of Plevna, Missouri.
She was born October 17, 1946, at Keokuk, Iowa the daughter of Kenneth Pearl and Arlene Louise Schmoldt Cale.
She was united in marriage to Dean Partin in Keokuk, Iowa and to this union two children were born.
On May 27, 1978, at Knox City, Missouri she was united in marriage to Michael Eugene Taylor.
Surviving are her husband Mike Taylor of Plevna, Missouri, one son Jason Len Partin and his wife Heather of Grain Valley, Missouri, one brother Terry Alan Cale and his wife Andrea of Dallas City, Missouri, one sister Marlene Underwood and husband Galen of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, four grandchildren, Mason, Michael, Marcus and Marshall Partin, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, one son Sean Alan Partin and one niece Marlaine Underwood.
Judy received her education at New Boston, Iowa, attended two years at Southeastern Iowa Community College at Keokuk, Iowa, and received her Bachelors Degree in Education from Northeast Missouri State Teachers College in Kirksville. She taught physical education and girl’s basketball at Princeton, Missouri, owned and operated Judy’s Diner in Edina for fifteen years, was associated with Taylor Trucking in Plevna for twenty-nine years and was employed with Life Touch Photos for several years.
Judy was a member of the Missouri Restaurant Association for several years. She enjoyed playing crossword puzzles and spending time with family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday August 22, 2007, at 2:00 p.m., at the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, Missouri. The Reverend David Doctorian will officiate the services.
Burial will be in the Locust Hill Cemetery west of Novelty, Missouri.
Casket bearers will be Kevin Cale, and Scott, Bret, Jason, Tyson and Cale Underwood.
Honorary bearers will be Merlin and Martha Marie Huse, Billy and Susie Baker, Kent and Lori Strange, Pete and Brenda Simmons, Bill and Jane Caldwell, Steve and Debbie Edwards, Earl and Kathy Kuhl, Dwight and Dee Pape, Bob and Faye Smithy and Kaye Dooley.
