Hulshof’s Staff To Hold Listening Post in Memphis
The office of U.S. Congressman Kenny Hulshof will hold a “Listening Post” in Memphis on Thursday, May 24. A member of Congressman Hulshof’s staff will be available to meet with constituents at the Scotland County Courthouse in Memphis from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
“During my ten years in Congress, I have handled thousands of constituent service requests for those who have experienced ‘red tape’ or other difficulties with federal agencies, and many of those requests got their start at Listening Posts,” stated Hulshof. “I highly encourage constituents to attend Listening Posts when they have a problem with the federal government. Listening Posts are also an excellent opportunity for individuals to share their concerns face-to-face with a member of my staff about upcoming legislation or other federal issues.
“With the large size of our 9th District, it is very difficult for some of our constituents to travel to one of my office locations. So I’ve made a point over the past decade to bring my office to them,” said Hulshof. “I am happy to provide this service to my constituents, and I encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity.”
Anyone with questions about the Listening Post or other issues may call the Congressman’s Hannibal office at 573-221-1200.
