Chase Moore Named NAIA All-American Scholar
The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics has released the 2006 Daktronics Men’s Basketball All-American Scholar Athletes. Each member must be a junior or above in academic standard and maintain a minimum cumulative 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
Members are nominated by their coaches and must be a contributing member of their respective varsity men’s basketball team. Among this years’ list is Scotland County R-1 alumni, Chase Moore.
Chase played in all 28 games for the Graceland Yellow Jackets averaging 12 minutes per contest. He maintained the third highest three-point shooting percentage and the highest free-throw percentage on the team.
He is a junior at Graceland, majoring in chemistry.
Chase is the son of Rob and Shari Moore and grandson of Rosemary Jenkins and the late Clyde Jenkins, Richard and Betty Moore.
