W. PAULINE MEEK

W. Pauline Meek, 79, of Memphis, MO, passed away on October 24, 2006, at her home in Memphis.

She was born October 24, 1927, in Grant City, MO, the daughter of Clarence and Katie (Ross) Rinehart.

She married Edward Marion Meek, 1946, in Troy, KS, and to this union three sons were born.

Pauline was a Charter member of the P.E.O, United Methodist Church in Memphis, and a member of the Calorie Counters.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward M. Meek in 1995; her parents; two sons, Ronald E. Meek, 1990; and Dennis M. Meek in 2004.

She is survived by her son, Daniel D. Meek of Raleigh, NC and three grandchildren, Melissa Nelson, and husband, Nick of Columbia, MO, Chris Meek of St. Joseph, MO, and Darron Meek of Kansas City, MO; one sister, Evelyn Harris of Cedar Falls, IA.

The family has suggested memorials to the Donors Choice, and may be left at or mailed to the Payne Funeral Chapel, 202 E. Madison, Memphis, MO 63555.

Funeral services were held on October 28, 2006, at the United Methodist Church in Memphis, MO, with Rev. Terry Lipptreu officiating. Musicians were Joan Hinds, organist, and Terry Lipptreu, soloist. Interment was in the Memphis Cemetery, Memphis, MO. Arrangements were handled by the Payne Funeral Chapel, Memphis.
