JUDY K. FRY
(4/1/1948 – 10/20/2006)

Judy K. Fry, 58, of Memphis, MO, passed away October 20, 2006, at Scotland County Memorial Hospital, Memphis, MO, after a long-term illness.

Judy was born April 1, 1948, at Minot, ND, she was the daughter of Morris M. and Tilda O. (Loraas) Conklin. Judy attended schools in North Dakota and South California.

Prior to becoming ill Judy was Dietary Manager for Ashley Medical Center and Nursing Home, Ashley, ND, for ten plus years. Judy moved to Memphis, MO, in 2003 due to illness, to be closer to her family members. She was a resident of Scotland County Care Center from April 2005 until she was admitted to Scotland County Memorial Hospital, October 19, 2006.

Judy loved her family. She is survived by one son, Brian T. Fry, stationed in the Navy at San Diego, CA; a sister, Connie Rohrbach; two nieces, Lori Jackson and husband, Rich and Michele Miller, all of Memphis, MO; Aunt Judy had a special love for her nieces’ children, Zach and Kyndal Miller, Courtney and Chris Jackson, also of Memphis.

The family has suggested memorials to the donors choice, and may be left at or mailed to the Payne Funeral Chapel, 202 E. Madison, Memphis, MO 63555.

Funeral services were held on October 23, 2006, at the Payne Funeral Chapel in Memphis, MO, with Pastor Dan Hite officiating. Musicians were Joan Hinds, organist, and Schelle Cooley, soloist. Pallbearers were family and friends. Interment was in the Memphis Cemetery, Memphis, MO.
