KEVIN LEE SWEARINGEN

Kevin Lee Swearingen, 45, passed away August 17, 2006 at his home in Sacramento, CA.

The son of Henry A. and Esther L. (Ensor) Swearingen, he was born on October 26, 1960, in Quincy, IL. Kevin was a construction engineer.

He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, hunting, biking, hiking, canoeing, camping, and kayaking.

Preceding him in death was his brother, Douglas K. Swearingen on October 15, 2002.

He is survived by his parents of Springfield, IL; brothers, Arthur Swearingen of Springfield, IL and Chris Sunderland and wife Becky of Woodridge, IL; sister, Karen Argentine and husband Dean and twin nephews Josh and Zack of Gulf Breeze, FL; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Memorial services were held on October 2, 2006 at the Gerth Funeral Chapel in Memphis, MO, with Brother Jack Sumption officiating. Special music was provided by Ann Luther, organist and Schelle Cooley, vocalist. Inurnment was in the Greensburg Cemetery, Greensburg, MO.

Memorials have been suggested to the American Cancer Society and may be left at or mailed to Gerth Funeral Service, 115 S. Main, Memphis, MO 63555.

Arrangements were handled by Gerth Funeral Service from their Memphis chapel.
