WILMA LEE PARRISH

Wilma Lee Parrish, 48, of Hurdland, MO, passed away September 12, 2006, at her residence southwest of Hurdland, MO.
She was born September 10, 1958, at Edina, MO, the daughter of Eli Eugene and Mildred Louise Morrison Parrish.
Wilma was preceded in death by her father in 1992 and her son, Brian Scott Pinson on January 17, 1994; one sister, Melba Jean Parrish, and one nephew, Josh Pinson.
Surviving are her companion Mike Lawson of Hurdland, MO; her mother, Mildred Louise Parrish of Gorin, MO; one son, Michael Travis Pinson and his wife, Terry Dawn of Edina, MO; one brother, Micheal Dean Parrish and his wife, Diane of Gorin, MO; two sisters, Nellie Ann Zweifel and husband, Carl of Kahoka, MO, and Dixie Kay Parrish of Gorin, MO; three grandchildren, Cheyene Munson, Sean Pinson, and Brianna Pinson, and several nieces and nephews.
Wilma received her education in Gorin, MO, where she graduated from high school. She lived most of her life in the Edina area. For the past several years she was employed as a cashier at Wal-Mart in Kirksville, MO.
Wilma enjoyed reading, crocheting, watching birds and animals and spending time with family and friends.
Funeral services were held September 16, 2006, at Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO. The Reverend Mike Porter officiated the services. Burial was in the South Bethel Cemetery northwest of Rutledge, MO. Casket bearers were Larry Clark, Gary Rumley, Harley Hamlin, Mike Peavler, Kirk Lawson, and Dwaine Perrigo. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Wilma Lee Parrish may be made to the Mayo Foundation or the Northeast Missouri Hospice. Memorials may be left at or mailed to Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home, P.O.
