Felix Roberts, 73, of Kahoka, MO, died August 14, 2006 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, IA.
He was born January 20, 1933 in Clark County, MO, the son of Felix and Margaret Schmid Roberts. He was united in marriage to Helen Brown on April 17, 1955 in Kahoka, MO. She survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Theresa (Tess) Kuchenbecker and her husband Jim of Eagle River, WI, Carolyn McCarty and her husband Bobby of Hurdland, MO, two sons, Marc Roberts and his wife Teresa of Mt. Ayr, IA, and Joe Roberts and his wife Lisa of Kahoka, MO, fifteen grandchildren, Elizabeth, Daniel and Katie Kuchenbecker, Shane and Emily Clouse, Amanda, Debra and Matthew McCarty, Megan, Blake, and Nathan Roberts and Ashley, Ryan, Kailey and Jessica Roberts, one brother Lewis Edward (Eddie) Roberts and his wife Norma of Revere, MO, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Felix was a veteran of the United States Navy and proudly served his country. He then worked at Sheller Globe as a die maker until 1979. He was of the Catholic faith and a member of Local Union 444. He enjoyed hunting and fishing but his most memorable moments was the time he spent with his family. His grandchildren were his pride and joy and he loved to spend time with them
Funeral services were held August 17th at the Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka with Father Paul Hartley officiating. Burial with military rites was in the Kahoka Cemetery in Kahoka, MO.
Memorials may be made to Disabled Veterans, to the Clark County Ambulance Squad or to the donorís choice.
Pallbearers were Ron Waterman, John Parker, Randy Lipper, Neil Brown, Tony Brown, and Mark Best. Honorary pallbearers were Daniel Kuchenbecker, Ryan Roberts, Joe Edlen, Charles Pierce, Jack Edlen and Shane Clouse.
