HELEN JANE GORDON
(9/20/1914 – 8/2/2006)

Helen Jane Gordon, 91, of Blandinsville, IL, passed away August 2, 2006, at the Scotland County Memorial Hospital in Memphis, MO.

She was born on September 20, 1914 in McDonough County, IL, to John H. and Fannie A. Edell Gordon.

She is survived by one nephew, John (Beverly) Cole of Rutledge, MO; one niece, Louise (Kent) Stricker of Colorado and several great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Willis and George Gordon; two sisters, Doris Gordon and Mary Harriet Cole and one nephew, George Burdett Gordon.

She lived in the Blandinsville, IL, area all of her life and she farmed for many years with her brother and sister.

She was a member of the Blandinsville Baptist Church, Blandinsville, IL.

Funeral services were held August 5, 2006, at the Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Blandinsville, IL, with the Reverend Dean Reeverts officiating. Burial was in the Glade City Cemetery in Blandinsville, IL. Memorials may be made to the Blandinsville-Hire Rescue Squad.
